Job Title: Procurement Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cost savings and maximising business opportunities through strategic sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supplier evaluation, negotiation and selection, as well as strong organisational and administration skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic sourcing of products and global procurement management
  • Negotiating pricing, deals, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Identifying and capitalising on opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, build on current product offerings and create additional value for customers
  • Conducting regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvements
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop business and maximise opportunities
  • Managing tender enquiries and negotiations of contracts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of supplier evaluation, negotiation and selection
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to absorb technical information of products
  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office); SAP ERP experience highly desirable
  • Flexible and proactive attitude with ability to think strategically
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
