Job Overview

The Central Support Coordination Team Lead is responsible for the direct management of a team consisting of 7-10 members.

This role will support regional operations to achieve orders and sales targets for the division.

The individual will also have a dotted line to other senior managers in the organization who rely on the back-office team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of coordinators, deploying engineers, ensuring logistics and parts availability, generating invoicing transactions, order acceptance, resource planning, operational and tendering support, and delivering positive customer experiences.
  • Assume line management responsibility for workload allocation, performance evaluations, recruitment selection, and ensuring departmental personnel follow established company policies and procedures.
  • Restructure workloads to advance from a business unit focus to a customer-centric setup.
  • Drive the team to achieve results aligned with forecasted revenue/orders for each period and identify opportunities proactively.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure tasks are completed within agreed SLA timescales and accuracy measures.
  • Review financial exception reports, implement corrective actions, and escalate common themes to the departmental manager for review and change implementation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to meet staff development and upskilling requirements.
  • Maintain health and safety awareness and promote safe behaviors within the team aiming for zero incidents.
