Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary and nutritional guidelines;">
  • Lead or support daily kitchen operations to maintain efficiency, quality, and consistency;">
  • Follow all HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and cook-chill protocols;">
  • Oversee stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation;">
  • Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergen management;">
  • Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning and patient requirements;">
  • Maintain a clean, compliant, and organised kitchen environment.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional chef qualification;">
  • Experience in a healthcare or high-volume catering environment;">
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill processes;">
  • Licence to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance;">
  • Ability to provide references for at least 5 years of work experience;">
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills;">
  • Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts as required.">
