Neonatal Dietitian Specialist Opportunity

About the Role

This specialist position will provide expert nutrition and dietetic services for newborns in a Level 3 (Tertiary) Unit. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nutritional assessment and expertise in pediatric care.

Key responsibilities will include providing guidance and support to healthcare professionals, developing local policies and care pathways, and collaborating with the Dietitian Manager.

  • Nutritional Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of newborns to identify nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to healthcare professionals on neonatal nutrition and related topics.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with the Dietitian Manager to develop and implement local policies and care pathways for neonatal nutrition.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • CORU Registration: Active registration with the CORU register as a registered dietitian.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 4 years in a related area of specialism.
  • Specialization: Experience in pediatric or neonatal care is essential.
