
Manufacturing Engineer

An Engineering Technician is required to provide a Manufacturing Engineering service to the plant, maximising manufacturing equipment availability and ensuring day-to-day preventative, predictive and demand maintenance activities.
The role involves liaising with Production to ensure equipment performance is maximised, maintaining records and documentation on relevant Engineering Procedures, and liaising with Internal/External Engineering personnel and contract maintenance providers in maintaining, troubleshooting and installing/commissioning equipment.
Key responsibilities include facilitating the implementation of equipment projects/process improvements, establishing department goals and schedules with the engineering team leader, and contributing to successful audits.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, mental concentration, problem-solving skills, adaptability to new regulatory requirements, results-driven approach, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A 3rd level qualification in an Engineering discipline and 3-5 years' experience in a regulated environment are essential. Strong IT knowledge and troubleshooting/documentation skills are also required.
