Professional Furniture Assembly Specialist

Job Role: Assemble, fit and install furniture at customer homes and/or store displays with a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble flat-pack and modular furniture ensuring all safety standards are met.
  • Read, interpret and follow assembly manuals and modular installation plans accurately.
  • Perform on-site tasks such as mounting furniture to walls and cutting access points for sockets efficiently.
  • Provide excellent on-site repair or minor maintenance of assembled items.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service experience.
  • Manage service paperwork and report any issues to supervisors effectively.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in furniture assembly, fitting or similar skilled trade role.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools including ability to use them safely and correctly.
  • Strong analytical skills to read and interpret assembly manuals and plans accurately.
  • A full clean B driving license is required for the role.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English language.

Desirable Skills:

  • Carpentry or joinery background can be an added advantage.
  • Experience working with specific brands can be beneficial.
  • Ability to perform minor on-site modifications during assembly can be a valuable asset.

Location: Cork, Ireland. Job Type: Full-time fixed term contract (with a view to permanency). Work Modality: On-site and in-store based work environment.
