Job Title: Senior Project Environmental Scientist
Job Description:
The role of a Senior Project Environmental Scientist involves delivering individual projects from conception to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliverables meet the expected quality levels and are delivered on time.
- Coordinate and complete Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Appropriate Assessments, planning application documentation, and other environmental assessment/monitoring reports.
- Provide environmental technical assistance to the business.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals.
- Manage the implementation of regulatory approvals.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant environmental discipline.
- A minimum of 5-7 years post-graduate experience in an environmental or waste management position.
- Chartered status in relevant discipline is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of planning, environmental and waste management legislation.
- Proven track record in contribution to the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, planning and licence/permit applications for a wide range of projects.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Be flexible and a good team player.
- Excellent report writing and technical skills.
