Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our pharmacy team as a Prescription Fulfillment Coordinator. In this role, you will assist in the efficient processing and delivery of prescriptions to our patients, working closely with experienced pharmacists and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and gather necessary patient information, including name, address, phone number, date of birth, allergies, chronic conditions, request for non-safety caps, and insurance information.
  • Assess the workload, establish the prescription pick-up time, and queue the prescription for processing.
  • Deliver prescriptions to patients, obtaining signatures as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines regarding patient information.
  • Perform cash register duties within the Pharmacy Department.
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preferred AS degree or higher in a related field. Additionally, Vermont employees must be registered with the State as a Pharmacy Technician. Prior experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings is highly desirable.
