Job Title:Lead Speech Language Professional

We are seeking an experienced Lead Speech and Language Professional to join our team in an Acute Hospital Setting. This role offers a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to lead, develop and deliver high-quality speech language therapy services.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing clinical teams and ensuring effective service delivery.
  • They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance patient outcomes and improve departmental efficiency.
  • The position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of speech language therapists and allied health professionals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to ensure high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous professional development.

Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in speech language pathology or a related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
