Charity Fundraising Campaigns Assistant

Persuasion Republic is a unique agency in Ireland offering a range of fundraising and communications services. We partner with progressive organisations on vital social issues to fundraise, build awareness and support for their work and programmes.

Our clients include The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Hope and Home for Children (UK), Pieta, The Irish Cancer Society, Chernobyl Children International, Goal, Focus Ireland, Trinity Alumni Foundation, Women's Aid, Irish Red Cross, Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services and Action Aid Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Account Managers on all projects and campaigns.
  • Devising digital and social media fundraising strategies on Individual Giving campaigns.
  • Assisting client managers with multi-channel campaigns, digital/email/social media marketing, content creation, and sales.
  • Providing expert client-facing services during the implementation and data-linked evaluations of digital IG fundraising campaigns.
  • Analysing fundraising trends and applying market research insights to enhance campaign performance
  • Ensuring familiarity with marketing and CRM tools like Salesforce, Mailchimp, SurveyMonkey, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager
  • Working constructively with the wider campaign team to ensure each project is executed to the highest standards.
  • Developing and overseeing project schedules, budgets, and attending client meetings and presentations.
  • Maintaining key relationships with external suppliers, helping negotiate best deals for the client and agency.
  • Adhering to Persuasion Republic's core values around diversity, equality, fairness, justice, inclusiveness, and treating people with empathy, dignity and respect.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' successful agency-side experience in strategic project development, planning and management
  • A history of successfully servicing charity client needs in your area of specialty knowledge.
  • A proven track record and passion for the work.
  • Excellent strategic, project management and time management skills.
  • Ability to take direction, work on your own initiative, in teams, and work to deadlines.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A relevant third level qualification.
  • A willingness to further develop your fundraising knowledge and learning.

Benefits:

  • Full-time position with a six-month probationary period.
  • Work location: Dublin, Ireland.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week with some out-of-work hours required on an occasional basis.
