About the job
Saoirse Domestic Violence Services (SDVS) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Fundraising Manager to play a key role in developing our fundraising strategy and delivery on same, as a driver of the organisation's growth and sustainability. This important position will be responsible for expanding SDVS's donor base, fundraising paths and diversifying its funding streams, in line with our Strategic Planning securing a thriving future for the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team and engage with leaders and networks in the Not for Profit and corporate communities, all while contributing to a vision that provides life saving and life changing interventions to families impacted by domestic violence.
The Fundraising Manager will lead efforts to secure new income from corporates, foundations, grant opportunities and individuals, building and nurturing relationships to achieve successful outcomes. This role involves developing and managing tailored donor portfolios and crafting impactful fundraising campaigns. The manager will also ensure that SDVS's vision and funding priorities are effectively communicated through compelling materials, all while delivering top-tier donor satisfaction and loyalty.

Hours: 39 hours per week with flexibility required for working hours
Salary: €60,000
Location: Tallaght with hybrid working option
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To increase income year on year, particularly unrestricted income, in line with our Strategic Plan to diversify income streams and ensure sustainability.To continue to identify new growth areas and create a sustainable income stream for the organisation from a variety of sources including corporate partnerships, community events, direct marketing, individual giving and legacies.Deliver on annual income targets within budget and meeting all KPIs to ensure the long-term growth of diverse income streams.Alongside the CEO and the Board Fundraising Sub-Committee, be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of SDVS's fundraising strategy.Externally represent the organisation to extend its influence and profile amongst corporates, trusts & foundations, and other key donors.Develop and manage the relationships with existing donors to ensure donor satisfaction and loyalty.Design and deliver presentations to potential donors and charity partners on the work of SDVS and how fundraising directly supports families.Engage Charity Partnerships and a Patron for SDVS, to raise awareness of domestic violence and its impact and SDVS's advocacy work.Source and draft grant application opportunities for new initiatives in conjunction with management team.To implement and manage the operational aspects of fundraising including data collection, analysis, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations.To implement and manage a Fundraising CRM solution and maintain a donors database.To contribute and collaborate with Senior Management team on annual operational plans and alignment with our strategic plan.What we offer
Pension: 7% employer's contribution through our Pension Scheme (7% of annual basic salary) once probation is passed.Annual leave/Public Holidays: Entitled to 27 days annual leave exclusive of public holidays (Good Friday treated as public holiday). SDVS have an Annual Leave Purchase Scheme to apply for up to 5 additional days annual leave each year.Paid Sick leave: available once probation passed.Paid Maternity leave: SDVS pay full salary (less Social Welfare benefits) for the period of the 26 weeks basic maternity leave (subject to 1+ year service).Doctor visits: Funding towards 2 Doctor visits per year.Education Support: Funding towards further education and time off rostered duties where possible.Training & Development: Access to excellent training opportunities and continuous professional development.Employee Well-being: Access to regular supervision, reflective practice, team building days and Employee Assistance Programme with 24 hour support and counselling for staff and their families.About you
Third-level qualification in fundraising, marketing or business development is desirable.Minimum 5 years' experience in fundraising, marketing or sales with project and relationship management, business development, or CSR focus, ideally in Not for Profit Sector.Minimum 2 years' experience in Management of projects, budgets and people.Clear understanding of the role of fundraising within the Not for Profit sector.Proven success in securing fundraising targets and in managing, and growing corporate partnerships or sponsorships, marketing or sales.Proven Strategic planning and performance expertise, as part of a Management Team.Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and networking.CRM proficiency and confidence using data to drive decisions and performance.Knowledge of fundraising best practices, GDPR, and compliance requirements in the charity sector.Interested and passionate about women's rights and making a difference in the lives and safety of families impacted by domestic violenceExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Full, clean driver's license and access to own vehicle. (Access to own transport is necessary because this role will involve travelling to different sites and attending events.)-
