Design Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our design management team and drive successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Civil, Structural or Construction Management and extensive experience in the construction industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

The Design Manager will be responsible for managing design coordination, information, and technical submittals, as well as establishing effective relationships with consultants, architects, and the design team. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are required to track submittals, monitor response times, and ensure timely completion of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with consultants and architects to manage design coordination and information.
  • Communicating developed information to the construction team.
  • Establishing relationships with the design team.
  • Managing the technical submittal process.
  • Coordinating with QSs to obtain approved products.
  • Tracking submittals and reporting on progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering discipline, Architectural, Civil, Structural or Construction Management.
  • Extensive experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
