IT Support Specialist

PFH Technology are seeking a skilled IT professional to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and managed services portfolio.

  • Install and configure computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of internal components of a desktop computer, including storage drives, motherboard, and power supply.
  • Familiarity with disk cloning tools and partition management.
  • Geographical based to provide onsite support in specific sites or multiple sites (mobile).
  • Liaise with Coordinators to receive upgrade schedule, perform upgrades, manage issues through to resolution, and ensure good customer service experience.
  • Evaluate and escalate technical issues where necessary.
  • Manage Service Desk calls in a timely manner, including travel to sites to support users within the geographical region.
  • Establish and build on good working relationships with customers and end-users.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for software/hardware installations.
  • Troubleshoot system problems, diagnose and solve software faults.
  • Contribute to the Knowledge Base.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working in an IT environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and report writing.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate production of quality deliverables.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, able to interact with key stakeholders in a professional manner. A Third Level Education Qualification and Professional certificates such as Comptia, Microsoft, Cisco are preferable.
