A leading accountancy firm seeks a recently qualified accountant to join their team. This role offers strong career progression and the opportunity to work with diverse clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and complete client files and financial statements to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within deadlines.
- Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors.
- Draft financial reports and present results of engagements to the engagement manager.
- Supervise and train junior staff, providing technical guidance and leadership on client assignments.
- Identify and address areas of non-compliance with accounting standards.
- Contribute to statutory accounting, compliance, and related services across a wide client base.
- Engage in client relationship management, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
- Support continuous team development through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), with 12 years post-qualification experience.
- Background in practice, with an interest in broadening skills and taking on new challenges.
- Strong business acumen and ability to act as an effective advisor to clients.
- Proven experience in preparing Irish income tax and related returns.
- Skilled in report writing and presenting to senior management.
- Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork capability, and ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with experience delivering under pressure.
