Senior Technology Leader

The Senior Technology Leader role is a high-impact position that requires technical expertise and leadership skills. In this role, you will lead an experienced engineering team to implement new or revised application systems in coordination with the Issuer Services Technology team.

This team drives project oversight and delivery of solutions to the Operations and the Front Office businesses are best in class and scalable to continue supporting growth within the business and our internal technology organization.

• Technical Expertise: Possess strong analytical and technical ability with 5+ years of experience. An additional 3-4 years involved with complex medium to large projects in a dynamic financial environment is desirable.
• Leadership Skills: Lead day to day delivery work and clearly set out a strategic architectural vision and identify project/program delivery risks and work on risk mitigation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communication: Maintain good communication skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and use business knowledge to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needs.
• Problem-Solving: Work on complex and variable issues with significant potential impact, weighing various alternatives and stabilizing potentially conflicting needs.

• Experience of Java, JavaScript/Angular
• Experience in Appian is a plus
• Strategic Influence: Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring delivery and end results.
• Staff Management: Manage staff and vendors/contractors to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g., performance evaluations, career guidance/mentoring, hiring and disciplinary actions).
• Delivery Management: End to end staff and delivery management for several of the most critical application platforms utilized by Issuer Services.
• Crafting Solutions: Drive the strategic recombination of platforms and applications to align with Digital First and future state objectives.
• Technical Skills: Experience in working on multiple technologies and medium to complex systems, well versed with design standards and framework.
• Soft Skills: Superb communication, great verbal and written skills and ability to learn fast.
• Agility: Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment. Hard-working and highly motivated.
• Self-Starter: Self-starter who is passionate for learning about new tools and technologies; ability to work both independently, with other team members, and across teams.
• SDLC and DevOps: Experience with Agile and all aspects of the SDLC, and DevOps processes.
• Framework Knowledge: Experience with Spring / ORM framework, and database.
• Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a Computer Science or related field.
