Job Description

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and robust software solutions on our global connectivity platform. You will develop high-performance software architecture for our company that ensures horizontal and vertical scaling to meet our growing business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable and robust software solutions;
  • Developing high-performance software architecture;
  • Defining technical strategies and ensuring alignment with product and business requirements;
  • Providing technical leadership in architectural decision-making and advising senior leadership;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of products in line with architectural designs;
  • Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations;
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, guidelines, and best practices;
  • Mentoring and supporting engineers on architectural concepts as well as conducting code reviews where necessary to provide constructive feedback and govern coding standards;
  • Implementing and advocating for best practices in our software development lifecycle;
  • Staying on top of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations that drive efficiencies and/or value add.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the software industry, with a proven track record of technical leadership in a SaaS/product lead organisation;
  • Proven experience as a software architect, with a focus on .NET and Azure technologies, in a product development environment;
  • Strong proficiency in software and systems engineering, specifically in a .NET environment;
  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset;
  • Leadership experience in guiding development teams;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
