Senior Speech and Language Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in Cavan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to children with a range of disabilities, including physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.

Job Description:
  • The role involves working as a senior member of the team, providing assessment, diagnostics, and intervention services to children aged 0-18 years.
  • The post holder will be responsible for clinical and performance supervision, as well as ongoing service delivery to meet the needs of children and families within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team, providing services to children and families within the region.
  • To provide a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention.
  • To supervise and guide less experienced team members, promoting high-quality service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in speech and language therapy.
  • CORU registration.
  • Full license and access to a car for travel between locations.
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience, with at least 2 years working within paediatrics.
