As a commercial lines account manager, you will be responsible for managing high-value or complex accounts. This role requires intricate problem-solving and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage policy maintenance and service for assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive client growth and retention.
- Collaborate with client advisors to review exposures and insurance programs.
- Provide day-to-day service, anticipating customer needs and responding to client issues/questions.
- Monitor carrier activities to ensure fulfillment of responsibilities.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Hold and maintain appropriate state Property and Casualty Insurance License(s).
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years commercial insurance experience.
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of commercial accounts.
- Hold and maintain advanced designations such as CISR elite, CIC, CRM, CPCU.
This is an ideal role for those with strong understanding of commercial insurance, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
