This role offers a chance to play a crucial part in Anthropic's global hiring strategy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and supporting the expansion of our workforce across the globe.
As an International Employment Specialist, you will be responsible for managing relationships with global employment providers, EORs/PEOs, and local partners to optimize our international employment strategy and support fast hiring in target jurisdictions.
You will also support the establishment of new legal entities and employment structures in target markets, coordinating with external partners, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Additionally, you will partner with Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure proper payroll setup, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws in all jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:- Manage relationships with global employment providers, EORs/PEOs, and local partners to optimize our international employment strategy and support fast hiring in target jurisdictions.
- Support the establishment of new legal entities and employment structures in target markets, coordinating with external partners, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and HR to ensure proper payroll setup, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws in all jurisdictions.
- Support the recruiting team by providing guidance on employment options in new markets and helping to structure compliant employment offers.
- Support on special projects related to global hiring.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in global employment, entity setup from a legal operations or HR perspective, or international HR operations.
- Experience working with PEOs and Employer of Record (EOR) and/or contingent workforce management solutions.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex employment concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented with experience managing compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Solution-oriented mindset and able to navigate ambiguity effectively in rapidly changing environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
