Job Title: Registered General Nurse - Home Support

Job Location: Carlow

Hours: 8-12 hour night shifts available, Monday - Sunday

Full-time and Part-time shifts available.

  • Ongoing training and full clinical support provided by a local nurse-led team

Provide safe, quality, person-centred care to a client within their home environment.

">

The successful candidate will be part of a nurse-led care team providing clinical care in a home setting.

">

Responsibilities include:

">
  • Provide evidenced-based nursing care and implement all aspects of the care plans based on identified needs
  • Prioritize the needs and comforts of the client
  • Promote abilities, independence, and safeguard the client's interests at all times
  • Work closely with family members and the clinical supervision team
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, clinical team & MDT, reporting on clinical needs as required
  • Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes

  • Demonstrate commitment and competence in caring for clients' needs
  • Recognize each adult as an individual
  • Show kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect

Our ideal candidate would have:

  • Current registration on the live register of NMBI
  • RCN/RGN Trained
  • Pediatric nursing experience desirable
  • Previous experience in home care is an advantageous; full training and support are provided to all candidates
