Job Title:

Head Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a senior chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, menu development, team management, stock control, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the kitchen's daily operations.
  • Developing new dishes and menus.
  • Coordinating food orders with designated suppliers.
  • Interviewing and hiring new employees.
  • Maintaining and increasing profit margins.
  • Controlling stock levels and monitoring inventory.
  • Maintaining health and safety policies in the kitchen.
  • Estimating costs and ensuring they are within budget.
  • Creating work rotas and managing the kitchen's accounts.
Requirements:
  • Excellent cooking skills and a real sense of creativity when it comes to food.
  • Leadership and management of the highest quality.
  • The ability to design innovative and profitable menus.
  • A thorough familiarity with ingredients and produce.
  • The ability to work under extreme pressure.
  • Delegation ability is important.
