We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements for the organization
- Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Completion of tax compliance work, including VAT, corporation tax, and income tax returns
- Assisting with management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting for clients as required
- Reviewing work prepared by team members, providing mentorship and support
- Analysing financial data and providing insights for decision-making
- Developing and maintaining detailed budgets and forecasts for projects and business operations
- Working closely with operations to ensure budgets are adhered to and deviations are explained
- Conducting rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to anticipate financial risks and opportunities
- Liaising with various departments, Directors, clients and stakeholders, offering professional advice and guidance on accounting matters
- Overseeing month end, year end cycle
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant
5+ years' experience
Motor Industry experience desirable
Proficiency in accounting software
An in-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
Practical Tax Return preparation experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Strong attention to detail and with an ability to use own initiative, manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality at all times
