Job Opportunity: Care Professional

About the Role

This is a full-time contract position with an emphasis on providing personal care, companionship, and maintaining clients' dignity and respect in Cork City and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care services to clients, promoting their independence and well-being. This role requires a caring and compassionate individual who can work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Provide personalized care services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and transfers.
  • Companionship: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Maintain Clients' Dignity & Respect: Foster a respectful and dignified environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
Requirements
  • Own Car and Full Driver's Licence Required: Ensure reliable transportation to client locations.
  • QQI Level 5 Modules/Care Skills and Care of the Older Person: Possess relevant qualifications and training in care skills and older person care.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience: Demonstrate experience in care provision, preferably in a similar setting.
  • 39-Hour Contract (3/4 Days Weekly) - Additional Hours Available to Work if Wanted: Commit to regular working hours with flexibility for additional hours.
