RSK Ireland is seeking a Senior/Principal Hydrologist to provide technical leadership and guidance within the Hydrology Team. The successful candidate will prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments, design environmental sampling programs, and implement field-based works.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Hydrology Team.
  • Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments (minimum Stage 1 and Stage II but including Stage III also).
  • Design and coordinate Environmental Sampling & Monitoring programmes.
  • Implement field-based works associated with projects, which might include; surface water and groundwater monitoring, arranging and supervision of trial pitting, drilling, and geophysical surveys, peat probing, and gouge coring surveys.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Honours degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., Environmental/Civil Engineering, Geoscience, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4+ years' experience in a relevant position.
  • Experience with Flood Risk Assessment Software.
  • Ideally chartered with a relevant professional body or willing to work towards chartership.
  • Good understanding of environmental guidance and legislation.
  • Significant experience in the provision of environmental services at a senior level with good analytical skills.
