Job Summary:

The role of an Audit Senior entails delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to public sector clients while gaining valuable leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver statutory internal and external audit services to public sector entities.
  • Prepare and review planning documents and reports for client deliverables.
  • Present engagement results to senior management, audit committees, and boards.
  • Lead and support teams on a range of assignments, providing coaching and mentoring.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients while ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Hold a qualification in accountancy (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
  • Minimum 3 years' Irish Practice experience, preferably in external or internal audit.
  • Knowledge of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies is advantageous.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.
