We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for fitness and leisure activities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality fitness instruction and pool supervision to members and guests
  • Develop and lead group fitness classes, including aerobics, Pilates, and yoga
  • Assist with swim lessons and water-based programs
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool area at all times
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Pool lifeguard qualification - RLSS/IWS or equivalent
  • Recognized gym qualification - NCEF or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year's relevant work experience in a leisure centre
  • First Aid and pool plant operators qualification
  • Fitness classes beneficial
Duties:
  • Carry out duties including lifeguarding, swim teaching, fitness testing and programme design
  • Supervise swimming pool area
  • Present professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service
  • All other duties as assigned and appropriate
Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of leisure industry
  • Can-do attitude and forward thinking and planning
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also on own initiative
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and self-driven
