Senior Financial Accountant Position

A seasoned accounting professional is required to oversee the financial operations of our organization. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, providing support to senior finance personnel, and driving business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day cash inflows and outflows from various bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Prepare quarterly management reports for review by senior finance personnel and presentation to the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Compile and submit revenue returns in compliance with local tax laws across multiple operating countries.
  • Generate year-end financial statements and facilitate external audits by addressing auditor queries.
  • Summarize monthly work costs versus revenues, identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Conduct General Ledger accounting and intercompany transactional analysis, with regular reconciliation of Balance Sheet items.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and CSO returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified accountant
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy Accounts Department
  • Experience working in the Construction/Engineering industry is highly desirable
