Structural Design Engineer Job Opportunity
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to create structural designs and analyze building structures, ensuring health and safety and sustainability considerations are central to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed, innovative and creative designs, drawings, specifications and design guidance notes using 3D software packages.
- Prepare high quality written reports for internal and external audiences, always keeping an eye on deadlines and accuracy.
- Work closely with architects, clients and the wider design team to create efficient and integrated structural solutions.
- Support junior members of the team and supervise design staff.
Requirements:
- A civil or structural engineering degree (ideally a minimum of a Level 8 qualification from a recognized third-level institution).
- At least seven years' previous experience in this field.
- Chartership achieved.
- An innovative and creative approach to structural design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional planning, organizational and time management skills.
