Machine Learning Engineer for Grid Monitoring

The successful candidate will be a strong embedded software engineer with excellent communication skills and experience in deploying and tuning machine learning algorithms in embedded platforms.

  • ","][3]
  • Design and develop software for Grid Monitoring embedded systems which include neural net accelerators.","][4]
  • Work closely with AI engineers to adapt and tune ML models for the target edge computing platform.","][5]
  • Combine ML inferences and other signals within the embedded systems to identify and report faults and/or perform appropriate response actions.","][6]
  • Create all necessary documentation to support the embedded firmware design and communicate the essential concepts inside and outside the development team.","][7]
  • Participate in code reviews, software standard and guidelines improvement.","][8]
  • Develop and execute software unit and integration test plans.","][9]
  • Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality and implement corrective action.","][10]
  • Interact daily with geographically distributed Silicon Designers, Embedded Software Engineers, Applications Engineers, and other team members to develop software, resolve bugs, identify missing requirements etc.","][11]
  • Provide customer support during Beta trials and post release.","][12]
  • Comply with ADI licensing practices, code origin control and documentation.","][13]

Skill Set Required

  • ","][15]
  • Electronics, Electrical or Computer Science graduate.","][16]
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in designing and developing embedded software in C/C++ Language.","][17]
  • Background in machine learning algorithms (CNN, DNN) and experience deploying them on embedded systems.","][18]
  • Familiarity with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, compilation) and deployment pipelines for embedded AI.","][19]
  • Familiarity with neural network accelerators and strategies for efficient neural network execution on such hardware.","][20]
  • Strong background in embedded software and computer architecture.","][21]
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.","][22]
  • Proficient in C/C++ programming.","][23]
  • Experience in designing and developing embedded applications using RTOS such as Zephyr, ThreadX, FreeRTOS etc.","][24]
  • Experience with Git, Jira and Confluence.","][25]
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.","][26]
