Job Overview

An HSE Advisor is required to join our client's Health and Safety team covering projects across Ireland and the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture across multiple projects and sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safe systems of work to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Advise on risk reduction measures to ensure full compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Lead site inspections, inductions, and fire drills while promoting best practice and encouraging a proactive approach to health and safety.
  • Manage incident reporting and investigations, producing clear and concise reports for senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving health and safety legislation to ensure the business remains ahead of regulatory requirements.
  • Purchase and monitor personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure all personnel are correctly certified for site access.
  • Liaise with external authorities and represent the business at health and safety meetings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. They will also have a solid understanding of health and safety legislation and procedures.
