Job Title: Graduate Health Officer

We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Graduate Health Officer.

About the Position
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the SHEQ Manager in delivering the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.
  • The role involves conducting regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Incident investigations, report preparation, and provision of advice and guidance to employees and sub-contractors are also key aspects of this position.
Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and provide expert advice and guidance to staff on health and safety matters.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization and with sub-contractors.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in preparing Health and Safety Plans and RAMS for contract sites.
  • Evaluate the competence of sub-contractors.
  • Attend and contribute to health and safety meetings at site and company level.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative health and safety initiatives.

Favorable qualifications include experience in a construction health and safety or environmental quality related role, university placement, previous experience with ISO 14001, and Constructionline.
