Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on commercial MEP projects, developing engineering strategies and implementing successful mechanical design solutions. You will be responsible for designing installations in various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, educational and residential.

Key responsibilities include working alongside project directors to establish project requirements and deliverables, preparing detailed reports against agreed design briefs, and managing project costs. Additionally, you will plan deliverables for junior engineers and technicians, attend site meetings, and carry out site inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' consultancy-based design experience on commercial MEP projects and a Level 8 Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. They should also possess extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering related standards, guidance documents, and building regulations applicable within Ireland.
