Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. This exceptional opportunity is a great chance for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental Legislation, as well as experience in high-risk work programs and contractor management. A strong background in engineering or a related field is essential, along with a bachelor's degree in science or engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to our site teams, as well as participating in local safety teams, audits, and inspections. They will also be expected to conduct EHS assessments and auditing of processes and systems in line with global safety and environment standards.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to bring their expertise to a dynamic team and contribute to shaping our company's health and safety strategy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or related field of study
  • 7+ years of EHS, Engineering, or Operational experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical, petrochemical, or process-related industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish H&S and Environmental Legislation and regulations
  • High Risk Work program (Electrical safety, LOTO, Hot work, confined space etc) and Contractor Management experience beneficial
