Job Description:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy and driving business growth. You will be responsible for designing and deploying models in a live production environment, ensuring minimal waste and maximum commercial return through intelligent strategies that align with operational capabilities and market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of large-scale data initiatives from idea to implementation.
  • Understand stock levels of key products, forecast demand within the Irish market, and determine how much to export.
  • Manage the delicate balance of risk versus reward in sell-versus-produce decisions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with proven experience in scaling and building models for a live production environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
