Tax Senior Role

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill this key position in our dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tax professional to work closely with us, delivering top-notch accounting services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review and prepare assignments prepared by junior staff.
  2. Liaise with clients and advise on all relevant tax issues.
  3. Deal with restructuring and retirement planning.
  4. Research and resolve technical issues throughout the compliance process.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes within the tax sector.
  6. Liaise with senior professionals and other colleagues.
  7. Assist colleagues with tax queries relating to shared clients.
  8. Develop practice proficiency in Tax and specifically Corporation Tax, Payroll Advice, and Revenue Audit.
  9. Act as a key member of a wide range of assignments including tax advisory and tax planning projects.
  10. Assist with specific consultancy assignments in all areas of tax, including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, CGT, CAT, and VAT.
  11. Prepare consultancy assignment reports.
  12. Liaise with Revenue on clients' behalf and assist with Revenue queries.
  13. Manage and develop more junior staff.
  14. Meet new clients and contribute to marketing strategies.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in general tax/accounting practice.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Tax Standards.
  • Currently working as a senior in a practice/tax consultancy environment.
  • CTA Qualified/Part Qualified is desirable.
