Job Title: Site Engineer

A dynamic opportunity for a skilled Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 Contractor on a high-profile Hospital Extension project in Westmeath. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires exceptional engineering expertise and excellent communication skills.

The Role
  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project, ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project.
  • Supporting the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Requirements
  • A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as Site Engineer.
  • Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
