Router Installation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Router Installation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact in the industry.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for installing routers at customer or business sites, ensuring they are properly connected and functioning as expected.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a willingness to travel to multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out physical installation of routers at customer or business sites.
  • Mount and connect routers to power and network ports as per installation guide.
  • Use mobile tools (e.g., phone app or checklist) to confirm successful installation.
  • Label equipment and record serial numbers, addresses, or installation photos as required.
  • Ensure equipment is correctly placed and safely secured in accordance with H&S guidelines.
  • Maintain daily logs and provide basic updates to the project coordinator.
  • Liaise with site contacts for access and verify completed work before leaving each site.
Requirements:

  • Prior experience in field-based installation, warehousing, or maintenance roles.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet app to log jobs and take photos.
  • Able to travel to multiple sites.
  • Hold a full clean driving licence.
  • In possession of Safe Pass certification.
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
