Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

Amazon Web Services is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering complex network infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering designs and documents for network infrastructure projects.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery of network infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time for project-related activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in fiber engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in GIS systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in project/program management with a proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • 2+ years of data, inventory, or records management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using GE Smallworld in GIS applications.
  • BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
