Job Title: Capacity Install Technician

As a capacity install technician, you will be responsible for installing and decommissioning equipment in our next-generation networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and decommission capacity in our next-generation networks.
  • Scale support of several Data Center locations.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth execution of Rack Installation or Decom process.
  • Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflow.
  • Troubleshoot networking, routing, and inter connectivity issues.
  • Identify and troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues.
  • Specify Power and Cooling requirements for new equipment.
  • Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
  • Participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience in networking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
