Job Description

The Senior Systems Administrator will play a key role in our team, providing high-availability Internet and network-security services to over 4,000 schools across Ireland.

This individual will have advanced knowledge of Linux system administration, including file systems, configuration management, and networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage virtual infrastructure, physical servers, and appliances across datacentres
  • Develop and maintain network monitoring tools and systems
  • Provide essential services to primary and post-primary schools, including Internet content-filtering, IP address allocation & firewall services
Requirements:
  • At least 4+ years' industry experience working in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Linux system administration (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Skills in scripting (Python, Bash, Perl) and system troubleshooting
