Analytics Foundation Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to lead the design and development of our Analytic Foundation.

This critical role involves creating a comprehensive data platform offered through APIs, delivering data and insights from various points along a central datastore.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement cutting-edge features that push analytics boundaries.
  • Create scalable analytics and data models that meet business needs.
  • Develop high-quality, performant, well-tested code for large-scale applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and teammates to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand user requirements and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of full-stack engineering experience in agile environments.
  • Experience leading complex features in full-stack applications.
  • Able to work across business, data, and technical teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with open source tools, predictive analytics, machine learning, and statistics.
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala, Spark, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi, Scoop), SQL.
  • Experience deploying data-driven applications and machine learning systems at scale.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Data bricks, AWS, Azure.
  • Strong learning ability for new technologies.
  • Customer-centric development approach.
  • Passion for analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience improving development processes.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Motivated, creative, and self-directed, thriving in small teams.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field with strong academic record.
