Lead Packaging Operations Specialist

About the Role:

  • The Lead Packaging Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient packaging of finished goods.
  • This role involves solving complex challenges, analyzing data, and collaborating with senior professionals to drive business growth and excellence in production processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the packaging process to ensure efficiency and quality through strategic planning and effective team leadership.
  2. Oversee the assembly of finished components or parts into finished products, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control principles.
  3. Implement and monitor processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  4. Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  5. Analyze and solve complex problems related to packaging and production, utilizing data-driven insights and industry best practices.
  6. Evaluate and implement sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
  7. Represent the organization's values, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving business outcomes through effective communication and project management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Life Sciences field or related discipline.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred, with experience in lead project management roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years experience in managing cross-functional teams, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong proficiency in project management processes, procedures, and tools, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
