Job Overview

The Patient Access Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless patient access to healthcare services at Beacon Hospital. This dynamic individual will be responsible for scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate bookings.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including ancillary services and physicians, to coordinate care.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the department's Scheduling system.
  • Provide support during peak periods, adapting to changing priorities and workload demands.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer-facing administrative roles.
  • Proven ability to work accurately and consistently with processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ECDL, with strong keyboard skills (minimum 50wpm).
