Career Vision Recruiters – Dental have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Orthodontic Therapist to join their dental team in a high-end, modern specialist practice located in the South Dublin area.


This prestigious practice is easily accessible by public transport on numerous bus routes. The successful candidate must be registered with The Dental Council and possess previous experience working as an Orthodontic Therapist, which would be an advantage.

We are seeking a hardworking, dedicated, and flexible professional who enjoys working with a supportive dental team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and possess a strong patient care ethos.


Responsibilities include:

  • Providing patients with oral hygiene advice
  • Taking impressions and bite registrations
  • Fitting removable orthodontic appliances, such as retainers
  • Fitting orthodontic headgear, such as face bows
  • Providing advice on how to relieve discomfort while wearing appliances
  • Placing and removing orthodontic separators
  • Fitting and cementing orthodontic bands
  • Placing attachments according to the orthodontist's prescription
  • Inserting, removing, and ligating arch wires and bands

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and oral)
