About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Cavan. As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to children and families within the region, conducting assessments, diagnostics, and interventions for children with a range of disabilities, and supervising clinical and performance staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized speech and language therapy services to children and families, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to support children's communication development.
  • Serve as a clinical leader, mentoring and guiding junior therapists, and contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Hold registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the relevant governing body.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of three years full-time (or aggregate of three years) post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Possess requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties, including expertise in child development, communication disorders, and therapy techniques.
