About the Role

This is a senior role for a Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing services to children and families within a specific region.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service, including assessment, diagnostics, and intervention. They will also provide clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work with children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism.
  • To provide services to children in special schools and other settings.
  • To conduct assessments of need and develop individualised plans for each child.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A registration as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • At least 3 years of full-time post-qualification experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
  • A valid driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Postgraduate training and experience in Management of FEDS Disorders.
