Role Overview

Enable Ireland is seeking a highly-motivated Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team, providing services to children and families within the region.

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and intervening with children accessing the Early Intervention service as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing psychology services including assessment and intervention to children aged from birth to 18 years, with a range of disabilities, (including physical disability, autism, learning disability)
  • Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each child and family
  • Conducting assessments and interventions in various settings, including clinics, schools, and community centers
Requirements
  • A recognized university degree or diploma in Psychology (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honors in which Psychology was taken as a major subject
  • An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology
  • Demonstrated competence in working with children and families with a range of disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
