We are seeking a skilled professional to work with children from 0-18 years and their families, providing a range of psychological services including assessment, diagnostics, and behavior management.
About the Role:- This role involves working as a member of an interdisciplinary team in a well-established psychology department.
- The successful candidate will provide psychological services in partnership with families and other team members, running parent training courses and developing skills that shape child disability services.
- Manage and prioritize a busy caseload of clients requiring psychological support.
- Work collaboratively using a family-centered practice approach.
- Provide professional clinical supervision to ensure high-quality care.
- University degree or diploma in Psychology with honors at QQI level 8 equivalent.
- Irish postgraduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Proven competence in working with children with disabilities.
- Experience working with children with complex needs and their families is highly desirable.
- Delivering group work and parent training programs can be beneficial.
