Job Title: Senior & Staff Grade Clinical Psychologists

We are recruiting senior and staff grade clinical psychologists to join child primary care teams across Dublin North County, North City, and North West.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and therapeutic support to children presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental concerns.
  • Develop evidence-informed treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and multidisciplinary team colleagues.
  • Deliver individual and group-based interventions as appropriate.
  • Engage in goal setting, therapeutic planning, and case formulation.
  • Provide consultation and support to parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the child's care.
  • Participate in service development, quality initiatives, and continuous professional improvement.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a doctorate or equivalent qualification in clinical/counselling/educational psychology and/or be a chartered clinical/counselling/educational psychologist through the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Candidates qualified overseas must provide evidence of validation by the Department of Health at the time of application.
  • Be eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of various psychological assessment and therapeutic models.
  • Have experience delivering interventions to children and families.
  • Exhibit excellent clinical assessment, formulation, and therapeutic planning skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
  • Hold a full driving license and have access to a vehicle.
