Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to drive business decision making using financial data, analysis and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support senior management in delivering overall finance and business objectives;
  • Act as lead business partner for employer solutions, providing timely and insightful reporting, results and analysis;
  • Prepare regular financial management reporting including costs and sales, ensuring timely and insightful results;
  • Support evaluation and preparation of business cases for strategic initiatives and wider business opportunities;
  • Play important role in annual financial planning and budgeting process from an ES business partnering perspective, reviewing and challenging ES business as appropriate to add strategic value in setting business targets;
  • Monitor business area costs and challenges via regular reporting and tracking;
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of financial reporting, deliverables and development;
  • Lead, mentor and motivate direct reports to achieve desired finance and business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent academic record - university degree in numerate discipline, and holder of professional accounting qualification;
  • Ability to work in fast-moving environment, and interpersonal skills required to interact with all stakeholders;
  • 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in business partnering, FP&A or reporting role;
  • Motivated self-starter who is keen to build, drive and improve financial reporting and processes;
  • Excellent presentation, communication and MS Office skills, and ability to demonstrate strong track record in using key management information systems;
  • Strong commercial mindset and awareness with proven technical knowledge;
  • Proven track record demonstrating ability to make sound decisions having analysed situations where issues have emerged;
  • Highly motivated individual with ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate flexibility;
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to break down complex issues, articulate them clearly to senior stakeholders and work collaboratively to create focused action plan.
